Bupa Cromwell Hospital offers a breast care service run by a breast care nurse consultant who offers support and practical help to people dealing with any breast condition, particularly breast cancer.
Patients can see Harriet Kennedy, our breast care nurse consultant, for many different reasons. Some come for breast screening; some may have questions as they go through further diagnostic testing; others have been diagnosed with a breast condition and need support as they undergo surgery or treatment.
Specialist support
Harriet has considerable experience in all aspects of breast care. Her calm, friendly yet professional approach makes her a great support for patients.
Woman going through diagnosis, treatment or after-care for a breast condition can benefit from her wealth of knowledge. Harriet has spent many years helping patients through the experience of breast cancer, including as an oncology nurse, and can help to guide those who are making decisions about surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.
Harriet is also a single point of contact for patients with breast cancer. She can organise appointments, tests and results and generally co-ordinate your journey through the hospital.
