We offer investigation, diagnosis and treatment under one roof, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) approach to give our patients the best possible outcomes.

Symptoms

Breathlessness, cough, chest pain or blood in the sputum may be signs of chest or respiratory illness. The Lung Centre offers investigation, diagnosis and treatment for a range of conditions under one roof, combining comfort and clinical excellence.

Lung function testing

With other respiratory investigations, we perform full lung function testing complimented by a range of diagnostic services including chest X-ray, CT and PET-CT scan.

Governance

The Lung Centre operates under a robust clinical governance structure, which includes a multi-disciplinary team forum in which patients are discussed anonymously by members of the team. The MDT collaboration leads to better patient outcomes.

Our surgeons offer the full range of thoracic procedures, from simple thoracoscopy to complex lung resections. Oncological conditions are treated in our on-site Cancer Centre with targeted radiotherapy.
