As a permanent employee, you’ll receive 25 days annual leave (in addition to public and statutory holidays). And if you’re a ward based nursing/HCA employee you’ll receive 21.5 days annual leave. We’ll also increase your annual leave allowance after five year’s service, as well as give you the option to buy or sell up to five days annual leave every year through our flexible holiday programme.
Eye sight testing
If you regularly use a computer or screen, we’ll reimburse you up to £20 towards the cost of eyesight testing each year. If you are prescribed glasses solely for use with a screen, we will contribute £50 to the cost of these.
We offer membership with Soho Gyms, Earls Court for £18 a month. This small monthly fee, gives you access to other Soho Gyms and the Soho Gyms Perks Scheme including restaurant discounts across London, spa treatments and gym guest passes.
After six months service, permanent employees are eligible for a Bupa Health Assessment every two years - giving you a detailed picture of your health and wellbeing, with personalised guidance on staying healthy.

Bupa Staff Health Trust
After three months, permanent employees can receive private health cover through Bupa Health Trust. This gives you access to our Smile Everyday benefits, as well as cover for tests and hospital treatment, medication, access to a choice of consultants, overseas emergency treatment and much more. You can also add family members to your scheme (at an additional cost).
Cromwell Hospital Staff Discount
We offer permanent employees and immediate family members, who do not have cover under the Health Trust, or who exceed their benefit under the Scheme, a 50% reduction on medicaltreatment at Bupa Cromwell Hospital.

We provide employees who have worked for us for ten years or more the opportunity to request an extended period of leave.
Employee referral scheme
You’ll receive a bonus if you refer an ex-colleague, friend or family member who is employed by the hospital in a permanent role and completes their probation.
In the unfortunate event that you pass away whilst employed with us, we offer all permanent and fixed term employees a lump sum of three times your salary, paid to a beneficiary of your choice.
We offer enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, parental and shared parental leave.
Payment for Professional Registration Fees
If a professional registration is required for your role, we will cover the cost of these fees, e.g. NMC registration for nurses.
All permanent and fixed term employees have the opportunity to enrol on one of two pension schemes. Our Retirement Savings Scheme offers you the chance to pay in 5% of your salary which is matched by us, and the NEST pension scheme allows you to save 1% of your salary - also matched by the hospital.
