Background Information

Dr Uebing is a Consultant Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. His clinical expertise is the care for children and adults with congenital heart disease. In 2010, Dr Uebing was appointed to his current position at the Royal Brompton Hospital where he has taken charge of the adult congenital interventional catheterisation programme. Dr Uebing is also has an interest in pregnancy and heart disease. 
Besides his clinical career, Dr Uebing has researched and published on the use of non-invasive and invasive modalities on ventricular function analysis. He also conducted studies on the effects of pregnancy on ventricular function in women with heart disease. He is an elected member of the scientific board of the German Society of Paediatric Cardiology and on the International Advisory Board of Heart (formerly British Heart Journal).
