Dr Colm McCabe qualified from Imperial College London in 2004, completing specialist respiratory training in Oxford. In 2013, he undertook two years in clinical research within the field of pulmonary vascular disease at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge. Following completion of training in 2015, he undertook a Fellowship in exercise physiology at the Brigham and Women?s Hospital, Boston, USA funded through award of the UCL/Caius College Berkeley Fellowship and Scadding Morriston-Davies Fellowship. He was appointed Consultant Respiratory Physician in the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital in June 2016, where he is also responsible for care of patient on the High Dependency Unit.
