Dr Norman Kufakwaro is a Consultant in Pain Medicine & Neuromodulation, whose NHS practice is based at Barts Health NHS Trust. Dr Kufakwaro trained in London at Barts & The London School of Anaesthesia and Guys & St Thomas? Hospital. His pain training included complex pain procedures including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation and intrathecal pumps.  He specialises in management of a wide array of chronic pain conditions using latest techniques in pain management. Dr Kufakwaro has been a stakeholder in development of national guidelines for management of Low Back Pain. He is currently involved in development of Chronic pain: assessment and management NICE guidelines. He is an educational supervisor for London Deanery and actively involved training pain registrars and fellows.
