Background Information
Biography

I have done general medical training in London followed by neurology training at the Hammersmith Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology, the Royal Free Hospital and King's College Hospital. I have also done neurological research in London and the United States and have been awarded a PhD by Imperial College.
I was appointed as consultant neurologist to King's College Hospital in 2000 and am one of the very few neurologists whose NHS work is based full time at the neuroscience centre. I have also been the lead clinician for the neurology department for the last five years. I have a broad experience of neurological disease with particular interest in emergency neurology and cerebrovascular disease.
