Mr Eyiyemi (Yemi) Pearse graduated from Oriel College Oxford in 1995 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree and an honours degree in Physiological Sciences. His Orthopaedic training was on the South West Thames Rotation (South West London, Surrey and Sussex). After this he undertook fellowships in arthroscopic knee surgery at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Australia and in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Reading Shoulder Unit in the United Kingdom. He was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in Shoulder, Elbow, Arthroscopic Knee and Trauma Surgery at St George's Hospital, London in April 2007. He has published several research papers on shoulder and knee surgery and remains active in research. He lectures on national and international courses and is an educational supervisor for the Orthopaedic Specialist Registrars.
