Dr Karwan qualified (MB ChB) in 1989 and completed the professional and linguistic assessment board (PLAB) by the General Medical Council (UK) in 1996, and trained in General Medicine gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2000.
He completed his vocational training in General Practice, and gained the membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2004.
Training included: A and E Medicine at Stoke Mandeville Hospital; Cardiology, Vascular and General Medicine at Dundee Teaching Hospital; Healthcare of the Elderly at Nottingham University Hospital; Obstetric and Gynaecology at Farnborough Hospital.
He has a special interest in allergy, and in 2008 he completed the Diploma in Allergic Disorders by Allergy (UK).
Dr Karwan strives to maintain the highest standards of care, tailoring medical requirements to individual needs. He believes in a holistic approach to patient care with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine including screening and health promotion.
