Our staff are here to help you, and so please do not hesitate to ask them about any aspect of your healthcare. They understand that care includes your emotional as well as your physical wellbeing, so do ask them about anything great or small that would improve how you feel.

We offer a range of options from comfortably appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, through to spacious suites and companion rooms.

High-quality standard accommodation

Our standard rooms are well appointed, light, air-conditioned rooms with ensuite bathrooms featuring:

  • digital radio
  • magazines and newspapers including international publications, to order
  • excellent menu choice designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes
  • fresh bed and bath linen daily, and for that extra special touch each bathroom has Temple Spa toiletries
  • a choice of national and international TV channels including all Arabic channels and SKY movies and DVD playback

Luxury suites

Our indulgent luxury suites combine modern interior with outstanding patient care. We have spacious Royal and Presidential suites, along with well-appointed Executive and Ambassador Suites. A fresh fruit basket, Temple Spa luxury products and a robe and slippers will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Privacy and security is also in hand. The luxury suites are accessible via private entrance and we can also provide you with additional security should you need it.

Our five star service caters for you 24/7. A dedicated VIP Co-ordinator will endeavour to accommodate any requirements you may have during your stay.

Our menu has a number of delicious and healthy options to help you on the road to recovery. We are also able to offer you room service and can accommodate catering from outside the hospital.

The prestigious Royal and Presidential suites are located on the top floor, with exclusive access and offer spacious accommodation. A nurses' station serving both suites is staffed by a dedicated team which is on-call 24 hours a day.

Royal Suite

The largest of our suites is a firm favourite with members of royal families from around the world and their entourages. The suite features:

  • fully-carpeted spacious drawing room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, occasional tables and more
  • master bedroom suite with super king size bed, fine linens
  • fresh bed and bath linen daily and Temple Spa toiletries
  • fixed WiFi position and desk
  • en-suite marble bathroom with double-size walk-in shower
  • television with UK and overseas channels including all Arabic channels as standard, Sky TV and DVD playback
  • digital radio
  • magazines and newspapers including international publications, to order

Presidential Suite

This suite offers rooms linking with a handsome dining room and features:

  • ante-room with comfortable seating
  • full-size dining room which can seat up to eight people
  • master bedroom suite with super king size bed, fine linens
  • ensuite marble bathroom with step-in shower
  • fresh bed and bath linen daily and Temple Spa toiletries  
  • television with UK and overseas channels including all Arabic channels as standard, Sky TV and DVD playback
  • digital radio
  • magazines and newspapers including international publications, to order

Companion Rooms

There are a number of high quality, spacious rooms adjoining both the King and Queen Suites that are ideal for family members, companions and assistants. Two of these rooms can be combined to provide a mini-suite of bedroom, adjoining sitting room and two bathrooms. 

We appreciate the importance of good, nutritious food to help your recovery. Our award-winning Hotel Services team will be on hand throughout your stay, offering a wide variety of main meals and lighter snack options.

Food preferences and sensitivities

Bupa Cromwell Hospital attracts patients of many different cultures and religions and we are used to catering for a wide range of tastes, sensitivities and preferences. Please let us know of any preferences, and we will prepare food which is appealing and nutritious. We can also cater for religious considerations such as Halal-prepared meals and periods of fasting.

You can tell us about these when you complete the registration form. Or if you’d like to speak to someone about any special dietary requests before you come to hospital, please contact our Hotel Services team on 020 7460 5551.

Room service

Meals, snacks and refreshments are available for visitors from 7.00am to 10.00pm and you will find a room service menu in your room. Please note that any meals, snacks or beverages ordered for visitors will be charged to your room.

Visitors gain access to wards using electronic visitor passes which are programmed to last for a certain amount of time. Please let your visitors know that they will need to report to Reception every time they visit to be given a daily visitor pass.

Official visiting times are from 7.00am until 10.00pm.  Children who are visiting must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

If you are visiting a patient in intensive care please don't bring flowers. Cards and other items are appreciated. Please speak to the lead nurse for advice if you have any questions.

Anti-bacterial gel is available throughout the hospital. Please wash your hands before and after contact with a patient to help us keep Bupa Cromwell Hospital infection free for all patients and visitors.

Telephone calls

All rooms have a direct dial telephone.

External callers should call the hospital switchboard on 020 7460 2000. They can ask to speak to the nurse in charge of your ward.

You are welcome to  use your own mobile phone, but please do so only in your room or in a public area.

Internet access

To help you stay connected with your family, friends and work during your stay, we have free WiFi available in patient rooms and suites.

Bupa Cromwell Hospital is located in Kensington, a mile and a half along the road from Knightsbridge with its many attractions including Harrods department store and a wide range of international designer and other shops, hairdressers and salons.

We offer other services to support you, both while you are in hospital and afterwards. Our Therapy team offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy and a number of specialist recovery programmes.

Our dieticians can help you with any diet and nutrition issues. We also offer specialist counselling services. If you would like to know more about any of these then please speak to your consultant or nurse.

We also offer a wide range of other services such as beauty treatments, laundry and dry cleaning, newspaper and magazine ordering delivery, and a floral service.

Smoking is not permitted in the hospital nor on hospital premises, with the exception of the roof garden on the second floor. Burners, aromatic candles and incense are also not permitted for safety reasons.

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, so please let us know in advance if you have any special requests such as facilities you need because of a physical disability. We have disabled access to all areas of the hospital, but let us know if you have any additional requirements such as an interpreter or chaperone.

If you would like relatives or companions to stay in hospital with you, we can arrange this, subject to room availability. Alternatively, you may wish to reserve a suite for your stay.

Everyone at the hospital has a legal duty to keep information about you confidential.
